Performing the collection at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam

Together with Wouter Panhuise I performed 'Niet aanraken', 2017 at the Audi zaal. The performance builds on a gesture provoked by the work Colorita, 1968 from Wim T. Schippers, which shows a red button on a wooden surface. For The Living Museum: Performing the collection we created two fellow workers speaking dissonant messages, both physically and verbally. Based on the book 'Fahrenheit 451' of the Brittish author Ray Bradbury (1953), where all books have been banned and the main characters visually become a library. In this case, it is about the collective memory where the content of a work is saved by memory for - and passed on to future generations.
